By accessing or using the FrankWorks platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Service Description

FrankWorks provides an online platform connecting buyers with Canadian CNC machine shops for custom manufacturing services. We facilitate instant quoting, order placement, and project management for CNC machining services.

Our services include:

• Instant online quoting for CNC machining projects
• Order placement and payment processing
• Project management and communication tools
• Quality assurance and fulfillment coordination

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Promptly updating your account information as needed

4. Orders and Pricing

All quotes provided through the platform are binding once an order is placed and payment is confirmed. Prices are calculated based on:

• Material specifications and quantity
• Machining complexity and requirements
• Selected delivery timeline (Economy, Standard, or Expedited)
• Current material and labor costs

FrankWorks reserves the right to cancel orders if technical errors result in incorrect pricing or if the project specifications cannot be fulfilled as quoted.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to CAD files, designs, and specifications you upload to the platform. By using our services, you grant FrankWorks and our manufacturing partners a limited license to use your designs solely for the purpose of producing your ordered parts.

All FrankWorks branding, software, and platform content remain the property of FrankWorks.

6. Quality and Specifications

All parts are manufactured to the specifications provided in your CAD files and order details. FrankWorks and our manufacturing partners will make reasonable efforts to meet stated tolerances and requirements. Inspection options may be selected during the quoting process for additional quality assurance.

7. Limitation of Liability

FrankWorks acts as a platform connecting buyers and manufacturers. While we work to ensure quality and timely delivery, FrankWorks is not liable for:

• Delays caused by factors beyond our control
• Errors in CAD files or specifications provided by customers
• Consequential or indirect damages resulting from parts or services
• Use of manufactured parts in applications beyond stated specifications

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

8. Supplier Terms

Machine shops joining FrankWorks as suppliers agree to:

• Maintain accurate capability and capacity information
• Fulfill accepted jobs according to specifications and timelines
• Maintain quality standards for all manufactured parts
• Communicate promptly regarding any issues or delays

9. Modifications to Terms

FrankWorks reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
